Brian Worley
Brian Worley is the Associate Vice-President of the Advanced Technology Center and Dean of Advanced Technology Programs at Johnston Community College, where he leads six technical education programs and more than 22 faculty and staff. With 28 years of community college experience and an academic background in technology management, industrial technology, and tool and die making, he brings both technical expertise and workforce development leadership to his work. He has secured more than $3.9 million in grant funding and led initiatives integrating advanced manufacturing technologies, industry credentials, and innovative training into community college education. Brian has developed strong partnerships with industry, K-12 education, and workforce organizations to create sustainable talent pipelines and prepare students for emerging technical careers. He currently serves as a member of the NCATC Board of Directors, where he contributes to advancing technical education and workforce development nationally. His experience in program development, industry engagement, grant leadership, and emerging technologies provides a strong foundation for evaluating innovative workforce solutions.
