Margaret Roberton
Margaret Roberton serves as Vice President of Workforce Development and Chief of Staff at Central Carolina Community College (CCCC), based out of the E. Eugene Moore Manufacturing and Biotech Solutions Center. In this capacity, she leads strategic partnerships among educational institutions, regional industry, and economic development agencies to align non-credit training with critical labor market demands.
Roberton previously served as Associate Vice President of Continuing Education for the North Carolina Community College System, supporting short-term training solutions across all 58 system colleges in tandem with state agencies and trade groups.
A leader in regional workforce initiatives, Roberton serves as acting director of AdvanceNC and contributes to the CLAWS and NC Workforce Credentials frameworks. Her recent efforts center on advancing technician pathways in high-tech manufacturing, microelectronics, and nanomanufacturing through partnerships with Penn State's MNVP program and key industry stakeholders. Her expertise focuses on employer-led talent pipelines, trade education, and economic mobility.
