Dr. Parminder K. Jassal is CEO and Co-Founder of Unmudl and the originating author of the Technician Economy. The Technician Economy‚ describes a structural shift in how economic value is created as industries become more technology and capital intensive and technician work becomes essential to deploying, maintaining, optimizing, and scaling advanced systems.

Through Unmudl, she leads the development of Skills-to-Jobs infrastructure that powers Regional Technician Economies, connecting companies hiring technicians with regional technician talent, skills, and hiring pathways. Her work examines how technological investment becomes operating capacity and how technician capacity shapes company performance, regional competitiveness, and economic mobility.

An entrepreneur and former network systems engineer, Parminder has led ventures and initiatives across industry, technology, philanthropy, education, and applied research, with experience at Ford, ARCO, Greater Louisville Inc., ACT, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Institute for the Future. She holds a doctorate from the University of Louisville.
